Hot Apple Spiced Cider

Autumn is definitely my favourite time of the year. I love everything about it; the colours, the smells, the weather! This week there is a hint of autumn creeping into the air, so to set the autumnal ball rolling I've been brewing up quick and easy hot apple spiced ciders. They are a real hit in this house and are as quick to make as a cup of tea! Here's the recipe if anyone would like to give them a try.
Hot Apple Spiced Cider.
Autumn in a Cup

A mug of regular apple juice
1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon
3 Cloves

Put all the ingredients in a glass mug.
Stir well.
Cook in the microwave on high for 3 minutes.

That's it...done!

Be careful when drinking as the hot apple juice can burn your lips when too hot. I also pimp up my apple cider by sometimes adding a slice of fresh orange before heating, adding a whole cinnamon stick to stir and decorate or adding a swirl of caramel syrup!
