Rose Pendant

I've seen quite a few cross stitched pendants around online and on pinterest. I've had the materials stashed away for quite a while to make one but never got around to it. Finally, I had a spare weekend. I've never cross stitched, it's never really appealed to me (all that counting?!) so this project was a little bit of a learning curve.

 

I found a rose cross stitch chart online that I adapted to fit the shape of my wooden pendant. It came together quite quickly. I'm not sure i'll be rushing to do more cross stitch projects, this tiny pendant was quite enough for me... but I'm very happy with how it turned out.
